(April 1, 2021) – Effective immediately, Federal Employee Defense Services/FEDS Protection is excited to announce that it has added a $3 million civil liability coverage option to its program offerings, extending the civil liability coverage available for federal employees beyond the existing $1 million and $2 million policies.
Founded in 2007 by Tony Vergnetti, FEDS Protection quickly became the leading provider of professional liability insurance (PLI) for all federal employees. In February 2021, FEDS Protection was acquired by CRC Group, a leading national wholesale distributor of specialty insurance. This partnership has already enabled FEDS to expand its coverage options for federal employees.

"Due to high demand from our members, we’ve created this new policy limit to help federal employees maximize their protection. Current policyholders may increase coverage upon policy renewal—you may do so by selecting the $3 million policy option on your renewal application or by asking a customer service representative when you call in to renew. The new $3 million coverage option will be available for a $490 annual premium.
