According to reports, a recent internal OMB memo outlined the agency’s plan to designate up to 88% of its employees in the newly-created "Schedule F” category—a designation that would strip these employees of many of their job protections and rights as federal workers. Tony examined the potential impacts of this news on similar deliberations in agencies across the federal government, and noted OMB’s expansive interpretation of Schedule F may lead to even more federal employees being designated as such than previously thought.
