Bureau of Prisons (BOP) Employees

Bureau of Prisons (BOP) employees face high-stakes, split-second decisions in environments where judgment is constantly scrutinized. Even when they follow policy, routine actions can be questioned, and the perception of a mistake can trigger internal reviews, OIG investigations, disciplinary proposals, or civil claims. Correctional professionals may be the subject of prisoner allegations of misconduct or even named personally in lawsuits when acting within the scope of their duties.

FEDS Protection professional liability insurance (PLI) provides peace of mind, responsive customer service, and legal defense. We're trusted by federal employees and endorsed by leading federal employee associations nationwide.
