Did You Know

It is the rare employee who at some point in his or her career is not accused of some wrongdoing. It may be a subordinate employee who becomes disgruntled with a manager and decides to pick up the phone and make an anonymous allegation to an IG hotline or file an OSC whistleblower complaint. Or it could be an employee who didn’t get a promotion, or got a fully successful rather than a highly successful, or didn’t get a detail or job assignment that they wanted, or did get one that they didn’t want. In each instance the manager could be (and sometimes is) accused of discrimination, retaliation or creating a hostile work environment and is forced to defend his/her actions. FEDS provides you with quality legal counsel to defend employees accused of discrimination, retaliation, or sexual harassment by subordinate employees, under a federal EEO system that allows employees to accuse managers and other employees of discrimination with impunity and without any real proof or justification of wrongdoing.

FEDS Chooses Employee Education & Assistance Fund as its Official Charity

FEDS is proud to announce that it has chosen the Federal Employee Education & Assistance Fund (FEEA) as its Official Charity. FEDS is all about protecting federal employees and helping them in times of professional need, the same way FEEA helps in times of personal need. It's a good fit for FEDS, FEEA, and most of all federal employees.

FEEA is the only non-governmental, non-profit agency devoted solely to providing educational and emergency financial assistance to civilian federal employees. FEEA is primarily funded through federal employee contributions to FEEA CFC Pledge #11185 and donations to special relief funds. Since 1986, the FEEA Emergency Assistance Program has provided over $5.5 million in financial assistance to federal families experiencing natural disasters such as floods, fires and hurricanes, and to those experiencing unforeseen personal emergencies such as illness or death in the family. FEEA has also provided more than $7 million in scholarships to civilian federal employees and their dependents. FEEA is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt corporation. Donations are completely tax deductible and all proceeds go to FEEA’s e Programs. Visit FEEA’s website at www.feea.org
