Jose Carmelo Magana, 46, of Yuma, Arizona, was sentenced last Thursday by U.S. District Judge James A. U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Nogales Station apprehended an illegal alien from Mexico last week. A Mexican cocaine trafficking leader has been sentenced to 27 years in prison.
